KCWD joins World Water Day 2015
WORLD WATER DAY 2015
In celebration of the World Water day 2015, Kabankalan City Water District and the Association of Negros Occidental Water Districts, together with the Philippine Environment Office (PEMO), Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM), Knights of Columbus and other stakeholders joined the World Water Day which was hosted by Bacolod City Water District on March 16 – 22, 2015.
In March 22, 2015 which was the highlight of the event, there was a water caravan joined by the different stakeholders in Negros, followed by a short program held at the Provincial Capitol building. The Chairman of PRRM-Negros, Dr. Bernardo Eres, welcomes everybody and Engr. Manolito Mendoza the ANOWD President, gave his short message. The program ended up with the signing of the Declaration of Commitment by the stakeholders.
